San Diego Beaches
San Diego is filled with beach areas along every city on the coast. from Pacific Beach, Mission Beach, La Jolla Shores, Torrey Pines, Delmar, Encinitas, Solana Beach, Lucadia, Cardiff on the beach, Carlsbad, and Oceanside. San Diego has plenty of sun and surf for everyone. Travel times vary depending on where your headed, and Oceanside is a quick 25 minutes away.

San Diego Golf
San Diego has plenty of challenging local courses and several world class links. Get your course fix and and come back to a great relaxing room with Motel Mediteran. Check out the Vinyard Golf Course located just minutes away.


Rancho Bernardo: Home to some of the best mountain biking and hiking in San Diego County. There are many combinations of trails at Lake Hodges, this one starts at the Rancho Bernardo park goes to the Lake Hodges dam, then comes back. Enjoy downtown Rancho Bernardo, Golf and the Rancho Bernardo Winiery where there is shopping, food and a farmers market.

San Marcos: Enjoy California State University San Marcos (CSUSM) located just minutes away from our hotel. Visit the Stone Brewery for a tour or to have lunch in their amazing outside garden.

Mt Biking
Daley Ranch: Mixed trail use fro hiking and mountain biking with multiple loops throughout the park From beginner to expert. Only about 20 minutes away

Lake Hodges: Mixed trail use with a few out and backs on either side of I-15. On the west side you follow around the lake and work your way to the dam. Trails are fast with several rocky sections. On the East side, you have a choice of riding all the way to the 76 for a long adventure or ride about 6 miles out, until you reach a challenging 1 mile climb. Only about 10 minutes away.

Dixon Lake - 2.4 miles, easy for kids, 300 ft. elevation gain/loss
Daley Ranch - Boulder Loop 4.0 miles, moderate difficulty, 750 ft. elevation gain/loss
Lake Wohlford - 1.0 mile, easy for kids, flat terrain
Bernardo Mtn. - 7.2 miles, moderate difficulty, 1000 ft. elevation gain/loss
San Pasqual Hiking Trails - wide variety of trails and difficulty levels.
Boden Canyon - 11 miles, moderate difficulty, 500 ft elevation gain/loss
Iron Mountain - 67 Approach 6.4 miles, moderate difficulty, 1200 ft. elevation gain/loss
Mt. Woodson - Lake Poway approach 6.8 miles, strenuous, 2300 ft elevation gain/loss
Double Peak (San Marcos) 5.0 miles, moderate difficulty, 1000 ft. elevation gain/loss
